FAQ

FAQs - Frequently Asked Questions about CBD and it's usage.

CBD (cannabidiol) is a non-intoxicating compound found in the hemp plant that interacts with your body’s endocannabinoid system, which helps regulate balance in mood, sleep, discomfort, and overall wellness. It does not produce the “high” associated with THC and is used in oils, gummies, skin care products, and topicals to support everyday health

No, CBD itself is non-psychoactive and does not produce a high. HypernovaCBD products are made from hemp and are either broad spectrum (zero THC) or compliant full spectrum, meaning they meet federal limits of less than 0.3% THC. None of these products get you high.

Full spectrum CBD contains CBD plus other naturally occurring cannabinoids, terpenes, and up to 0.3% THC, which can enhance the “entourage effect.” Broad spectrum has those additional plant compounds but with THC removed to non-detectable levels, while isolate is pure CBD with all other cannabinoids stripped away.

Broad Spectrum CBD is better than CBD Isolate. Broad Spectrum CBD has all Cannabinoids plus terpenes and flavonoids minus THC there by retaining majority of what the Hemp plant produced. Whereas Isolate strips everything except CBD. It’s like eating apple vs pure sugar!!

Oils and tinctures are great for flexible dosing and relatively quick onset when taken under the tongue. Gummies and capsules offer precise, convenient doses, while topicals like lotions, roll-ons, and balms are best for targeted areas such as skin care, muscles and joints.

Understanding CBD is not like an Advil or a Tylenol is important. The effects are slower.

Most beginners do well starting low and going slow, typically around 25–30 mg once daily, then adjusting based on the benefit they gain. More experienced users may find their sweet spot at higher daily intakes (for example 50 – 100 mg), depending on body weight, metabolism, and goals.

There is no documented or tested maximum for the usage. But as a rule we suggest a maximum of 200 mg per day for humans and for pets, it depends on weight and can be seen on the product label.

Onset depends on the delivery method: tinctures taken under the tongue may be felt within 30–45 minutes, while gummies or capsules can take 45–60 minutes as they move through digestion. Topicals work locally and may provide a sense of relief within minutes to an hour.

CBD is generally well tolerated. The effects wear off after a few hours. Anyone taking prescription medications or with underlying health conditions should speak with a healthcare provider before starting CBD to discuss interactions and safety.

Hemp-derived CBD products that contain less than 0.3% THC are federally legal in the United States under the 2018 Farm Bill, though state laws can vary. HypernovaCBD uses hemp-derived CBD and compliant processes designed to meet federal guidelines and legal in all U.S states. Only in the state of Idaho, CBD products that contain 0% THC are legal.

There is always some risk that cannabinoids could trigger a positive drug test, particularly with full spectrum products that contain some THC. Drug tests are primarily checking for THC in the blood stream.

Broad spectrum and zero-THC formulas by HypernovaCBD and others are designed to greatly minimize this risk. At HypernovaCBD, we guarantee if you just use our Broad Spectrum products, you will not fail the drug test.

CBD products should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat to help preserve potency and freshness. Keeping bottles tightly closed and away from excess moisture or extreme temperatures helps protect the cannabinoids and natural ingredients over time.

Products produced at HypernovaCBD are all stored and sold in tinted and light diffusing bottles maximizing the storage time.

Hemp seed oil is pressed from the seeds and is rich in beneficial fatty acids but contains no CBD. CBD oil is made by extracting cannabinoids from the flowers and aerial parts of the hemp plant. CBD oil is then infused into a carrier oil such as Coconut oil or other oils for wellness use.

CBD topicals are applied directly to the skin, where they interact with local cannabinoid receptors without typically entering the bloodstream. They are popular for addressing specific areas such as joints, muscles, and dry or stressed skin, and can be layered with massage or heat for added benefit.

Most side-effects, if any, are short term (few hours to a day).
