Pre-Extraction Processing

CBD & THC Extraction

Quality Assurance

High Quality CBD Oil
Biomass processed into oils or isolates are certified organically grown or from farms who have adopted strict organic procedures
  • HyperNovaCBD produces highest quality CBD oil.
  • Our extraction process is proprietary and internally developed after years of experience in the process industry, extraction and purification processes and distillation. In fact we are an industry leader in distillation.
  • Our rich Broad Spectrum CBD oils contain Zero (non-detectable) amounts of THC, yet maintain the full profile of all existing phyto-cannabinoids
  • Contrary to HyperNova’s solution of removing just the THC from CBD oil, about 95% of CBD products that claim “no or zero THC” are devoid of any phyto-cannabinoids. They simply formulate a product with only CBD. Since about 544 valuable cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids and lipids are left out, the full medicinal effect (typically called the ”entourage effect”) is severely compromised.
  • All that is left after gentle extraction and processing is the most effective and purest phyto-cannabinoid rich, Broad Spectrum THC-free CBD Oil you can buy
  • Our CBD oil is non-GMO, Organic observed (organic certified upon request), vegetarian, vegan, pesticide and chemically free.
  • No Preservatives or Additives or Pesticides are ever used and always a third party test to confirm potency and purity.

HyperNovaCBD QA report

Our Farms Are Carefully Managed To Insure Only The Highest Quality Hemp is Used For Extraction

Finest Quality Hemp Biomass

HyperNovaCBD only uses hemp biomass cultivated from parental stock (males and females) of the highest quality and health.  For this work we insist farmers have parental stock (both males and females -mothers and fathers).

We will NEVER set out to accept hemp plant where feminized cultivation techniques were used for any reason — especially for the purpose of mass production and e-commerce.

Plants Managed To Perfection

Carefully monitoring the color of the trichomes on the plant’s flowers and leaves determines when the plants are ready.  Around harvest time, trichomes turn from clear to more of a milky white, and then to amber.
The desired ratio of compounds dictates whether to harvest at the end of the milky white stage.

HyperNovaCBD’s  farmers don’t harvest until the dry weight levels of delta- 9 tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) – drops down below 0.3%. However, that’s only the beginning.

Precision Mechanical Harvesting

Increasingly, to maintain competitiveness, HyperNovaCBD’s source of hemp biomass comes from farms where a mechanical harvester reaps the plants.
The machine is designed for infield cutting and loading of whole hemp plants. The hemp harvester is a tractor mounted attachment capable of harvesting up to 5 acres a day. The harvester cuts the plant at the base, notches the stem, and places the entire plant into a transport trailer, which is shipped to the farm’s drying equipment, then baled and transported to HyperNovaCBD’s CBD oil extraction processing facility.

Perfect Hemp Ready For Extraction

Hemp Drying is the most important part of post-harvest processing medicinal hemp when preparing for CBD oil extraction. Traditionally, medicinal cannabis has been dried by hanging in climate controlled sheds, or on shelves, to ensure that drying occurs thoroughly with minimal loss of therapeutic components such as cannabinoids and terpenes.

Because CBD is medicine, hemp must be handled as a medicinal product following GACP (Good Agricultural and Collection Products) appropriate to medicinal plants.
This rules out field, shed and other manual types of drying for most growers.
As a result the best source of quality hemp will typically come from farms using mechanical equipment. Also, being less labor intensive, the cost is usually slightly lower.
