Our company’s march towards where we are today started way back in 2004. We started out in the Process Industry with our own Technology and a robust R&D in the Biofuels industry.
We did pretty awesome things in that industry with our the technologies that we developed from scratch and technologies that were patented. We are still present in that market but started to look at other similar industries where we can leverage our expertise and knowledge. You can see the picture of one of our plants here ->>
In 2017 we honed in on Hemp and CBD market. We started working with various technologies such as Supercritical CO2, Ethanol, Methanol, Butanol, Refrigerant based systems, etc. We actually built lab scale models and ran them all and tracked the data for Yields, Energy usage, Carbon footprint, material usage, Consistency of the end product, Quality of the product, and bunch of other parameters.
Finally, decided on two technologies Supercritical CO2 and Ethanol based technologies in the beginning of 2018. We then started to test them separately and compare and contrast the products coming out of both systems using the same biomass. And also, one of the parameters we tracked was also, the ability of the technology to scale up without impeding the quality of the end product.
About end of 2018 and beginning of 2019, we finally had a winner in Ethanol based system, that met most of the parameters we were checking, met rigorous quality metrics and process metrics. One of the important factors that also drove us to Ethanol based system was the yield of the material, the quality of the product that extensively supports the entourage effect of CBD, and the ability to scale up easily.
We further developed the process, wherein we are now able to not only extract high quality CBD, but also, eliminate THC completely from our extract CBD product without affecting other components such as CBD, CBG, CBN, Terpenes, Flavanoids, etc.
Here we are in 2019, helping our customers who are primarily manufacturers of various products, have access to the best product available in the market. Our plans for future is to scale up our operations based on the CBD market growth as well as growing demand for our ultra high quality Full Spectrum Zero THC CBD oil.
